Municipal Commissioner KMC orders arrangements for Shab-e-Barat

KARACHI: Municipal Commissioner Karachi Metropolitan Corporation KMC Altaf G. Memon Saturday directed officers, engineers of Works & Services to make proper cleanliness arrangements in the metropolis besides lighting on all major roads leading to graveyards to facilitate citizens on Shab-e-Baraat.

Addressing officers, engineers, he hoped they will maintain the past tradition of facilitating the people in a befitting manner on Shab-e-Baraat.

Later Altaf G. Memon undertook the visit of various city graveyards

Meanwhile, a special fumigation drive is being carried out by Health Department of Karachi Division in coordination with respective district municipal corporations on the eve of Shab-e-Baraat.

Each spray vehicle will cover area around Jamia Masjids and graveyards in each district.
