One soldier martyred, four wounded in IED attack along Pak-Afghan border: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: One soldier was martyred and four others wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, the Army's media wing said in a statement Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), there was an "IED attack on troops busy in Fencing along Pak-Afghan Border near Kandao Sar Post in Landikotal".

The martyred soldier was identified as Lance Naik Taqdeer Ali Orakzai, the ISPR added.
