ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has advised that gas prices be increased by 13.5% and speaking to the media after the meeting of the standing committee on petroleum, Petroleum Minister Dr. Asim Hussain said the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project will be completed ahead of schedule.
According to Dr.Asim the project will be completed by 2012, two years ahead of schedule. Petroleum Secretary, Ijaz Chaudhry said that the advice by OGRA to increase the gas price had been presented to the standing committee.
