LAHORE: Fares have increased for public transport and rickshaws run on CNG, due to CNG stations being shut because of gas loadshedding, Geo News reported.

According to the government notification, Punjab will experience two and a half days of loadshedding and today is its second day.

Residents of the city complain that the unavailability of gas has increased the cost of travel. Rickshaw drivers say that due to gas lodshedding they are forced to use petrol which leads to an increase in fares.

In Lahore, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzzaffargah and other cities of Punjab, gas loadshedding is in its second day and consumers are facing several problems due to this. During this week CNG stations will be open for consumers after three days instead of three and a half and CNG will be available at stations after 3 pm on Wednesday.
