LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Ahmad Raza Tahir has ordered police officers to take stern action against one-wheelers and those plying on bikes without silencers.

Special teams have been constituted for taking action against persons involved in such activities, whereas traffic wardens, mohafiz force, mobile squad, elite force and SHOs would take steps to restrain youngsters from such dangerous activities.

He directed all divisional SPs to remain vigilant against criminal elements at all public places and business centers at entry/exit points of city.

He appealed to the parents to cooperate with Lahore police to restrain their children from indulging in dangerous and deadly game of "one-wheeling" at city roads.

Ahmad Raza Tahir informed that during the last six months Lahore Police arrested 584 one-wheelers and registered 567 cases against them.
