ISLAMABAD: The new monsoon system has entered Pakistan and it is expected that Karachi and other areas of the country will receive rain during the next 24 hours.

According to the met office, rain is expected in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha and Faislabad from Saturday evening.

In Karachi and other areas of Sindh, rain is expected in the next 24 hours while Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu will also receive heavy rainfall.

During the last 24 hours Rawalpindi, Lahore and Gilgit-Baltistan received rain.
