Qamar gets HPC life membership

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Press Club Saturday awarded life membership to Federal Minister for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar in recognition of his efforts in releasing grants for housing scheme of the working journalists of the city.

The Ex-President Hyderabad Press Club Lala Rehman Sammu honoured the federal minister by giving him life membership at a simple but impressive ceremony.

The President Hyderabad Press Club Jaffer Memon in his address eulogized services of the Federal Minister for the housing society.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the government would continue to serve the masses and the journalists without any discrimination.

"We realize the financial constraints being faced by the working journalists and would do all efforts to facilitate them," he added.
