4 more killed in fresh Karachi firing incidents

KARACHI: Four more killed in fresh overnight firing incidents in the beleaguered city here, Geo News reported.

Police said that two armed motorcycle riders opened fire injuring three persons in Buffer Zone area. The injured were shifted to the Abbasi Hospital, where all the three succumbed to their injuries.

Police said that the murdered persons were the activists of a political party. On enquiry, police officials said that an investigation was in progress and efforts were afoot for recording the statements from the eyewitnesses and collecting information from those present on the site of incident.

On the other hand, Iqbal, 30 in Ranchoreline area was murdered in a targeted firing by the armed unidentified accused.

Firing incidents were also reported from Super Highway, New Sabzimandi, Shah Faisal Colony, Korangi no. one and a half, Dawood Goth in Malir and Soldier Bazaar areas.
