Mishap at development project inauguration embarrasses KP CM, Gandapur

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Things became a little awkward during an inauguration ceremony when Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur tried to unveil the foundation stone of a project but thecurtain fell on the floor when he pulled on the string.

On Friday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Gandapur were inaugurating several developmental projects in Dera Ismail Khan when the incident took place.

Later, while reacting to the video, the federal minister said: “The curtain fell because the foundation stone was cemented overnight, after the video went viral, people had a laugh.”

Gandapur said it was good that the video went viral as "people got a laugh out of it".
