Operation ongoing in Kurrum Agency: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Director General ISPR, Major General Athar Abbas said the operation against militants continued in Kurrum Agency and a large number of militants had been killed, Geo News reported.

He said the operation against militants was being conducted to link upper and lower Kurrum and in order to achieve this objective a successful operation was conducted in central Kurrum.

The spokesman for the military said mountainous regions of the agency had been cleared of militants and action would continue against them. He expressed hope that the operation would be completed soon.
