PESHAWAR: The temperatures slide further as monsoon rains continue to hit most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Swat, Malakand, Nowshera, Hangu, Kohat and Karak.

According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority more showers were expected in various parts of the province and northern areas of the country during next 24 hours.

The provincial capital received light rain that started on late Monday night and continued on Tuesday morning. People restricted to their houses due to hot and humid weather took a sigh of relief and went to bazaars and public parks to enjoy the pleasant change in the weather. (APP)
