Hand grenade explosion injures five in Karachi

KARACHI: Five people were injured as a result of a hand grenade explosion in the old golimar area of the city, Geo News reported.

The culprits fled the scene after hurling the hand grenade. According to police the incident took place near a park in the area, when unknown men fled after hurling a grenade at the corner of the street.

As a result, Lal Muhammed, Omer, Rameez Nazar, Muhammed and Nazeer were injured and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police and other law enforcement agencies evaluated the scene of the incident.
