Mirza vows stern action against encroachers

KARACHI: Senior Minister for Works, Services andForestry, Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza has said that stern action will be takenagainst those found involved in encroachment in forest area.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, the Minister said that mostly encroachers took advantage of the post-flood situation and occupied many of the areas. Dr Zulfiqar Mirza sought a report from the respective departments with details about the encroachments.
