Commissioner stresses on students' character building

HYDERABAD: Commissioner of Hyderabad Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo has called upon the teachers to focus on students' character building, so that they could face the challenges of modern era in a better way.

Talking to a delegation of Public School teachers at his office here on Thursday, he said that efforts should be made to raise the capability teachers so that they could be made capable of imparting quality education through modern teaching technique. He said that Public School Hyderabad is amongst the best historical educational institutions which are serving the people of Hyderabad with quality education.

He further said that teaching has been a sacred profession and teachers should perform it with missionary spirit. The delegation apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the problems faced by the teaching as well as non- teaching staff and requested for the solution of these problems. Narejo assured the delegation of resolving their problems within a week. The delegation comprised Prof. Abdul Rehman Siyal, Mohammad Yaseen and Sarawat Khatoon Qureshi.
