No load shedding during Sehr, Iftar times

PESHAWAR: The management of Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) has decided that there will be no load shedding during Sehr and Iftar in Ramzan.The power company has urged for extending cooperation so that all over loaded 11 kv feeders consumers for the un-interrupted power supply during Sehr & Iftar.

In case the consumers will use minimum and avoid extra load the power supply will continue without any interruption for domestic consumers. Although the customers are also requested to avoid use of air conditioners during Sehr and Iftar so that the system could not got over load and un-interrupted electricity supply will continue to the customers.

The company has appealed the consumers for energy conservation and the chief executive Pesco, Mohammad Wali has said that the current energy crisis could be overcome only with the cooperation of the consumers. PESCO, he said is taking all possible steps to overcome the energy crisis, however public is requested, to conserve energy by means of less consumption.

The domestic consumers are also requested to use Energy Savers and tube lights instead of bulbs so that energy could be saved.All consumers are requested to minimize use of AC & while using AC its thermostat must be kept at 26 Degree. Customers are also requested to avoid use of ACs during Sehr and Iftar for the protection of the system.
