93 shopkeepers fined

MULTAN: The district administration imposed fine of Rs 24,100 to 93 shopkeepers for profiteering.

On the directive of Punjab government, the district administration has launched campaign against the over chargingto keep the prices at reasonable level. The district administration has also established various Ramazan bazaars at Jalalpur Pirwala, Shujabad, Qadirpur Rawan, Mukhdoom Rasheed and different bazaars in Multan city.

The district administration has also deputed 24 price control magistrates to check prices of different commodities.
