HYDERABAD: Sindh Secretary for Workers Welfare Fund Karim Baksh Siddiqui has said that the apartments building constructed for the labourers of Hyderabad and Kotri would be evacuated from encroachers.

Siddiqui, who is also Provincial Coordinator Benazir Bhutto ShaheedYouth Development Program (BBSYDP), said this Tuesday evening during his visit to the flats in Hyderabad and Kotri. He also held a meeting with the people who were living in the flats without rightful authority and asked them to evacuate the place.

The Secretary warned encroachers to evacuate the flats, otherwise the Government would take action against them which would include forceful eviction.

Siddiqui also visited different plots which belong to the Labour Department but were under illegal occupation in Hyderabad and Kotri.Member Worker Employees Governing Body Mazharul Haq and labour leader Khamoos Gul Khatak accompanied the Secretary.

Later, Siddiqui presented the report about his visit to DivisionalCommissioner Hyderabad Ahmed Baksh Narejo who directed the deputy Commissioners of Hyderabad and Jamshoro to take action on the identified building and plots to end their occupation from land grabbers.
