YDA demands pay raise, service structure

LAHORE: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) has appealed to the Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani for pay raise and service structure for the doctors community.

In a joint statement issued here Thursday, YDA office bearers Rana Sohail, Salman Kazmi, Talha Sherwani, Ghulam Qasim, Khuda Bkhsh, Murtiza Blooch, Talha Saad, Khalid Idrees, Muhammad Ali Khawaja, Kamran Yousaf, Arshad Sehrai, Khaliq Sanawan, Burhan Ashraf, Tariq Sunawan, Atif and Ahed Shoaib said that non-existence of service structure for the regular doctors is forcing them to go on strike.

They made a fervent appeal to the Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani to look into the matter.
