LONDON: MQM chief, Altaf Hussain said that the MQM would offer complete solidarity to every effort aimed at bringing permanent peace and stability in Karachi, Geo News reported.
According to the statement issued from London, Altaf Hussain said this during the joint meeting of the Rabitta Committee in London and Karachi. Altaf Hussain said the MQM had always given preference to national interest, and he holds the joint interest of the country dearest to him.
The MQM chief also called on the government to seek solutions to various problems including unemployment, inflation, electricity load shedding, and gas shortage.
Altaf Hussain demanded that people affected by terrorist attacks in Karachi be compensated. He advised the Committee to communicate with the leaders of all political and religious parties along with religious scholars belonging to different sects and try to help people affected by terrorist attacks.
He also advised the members of parliament to refrain from using foul language and to present their point of view in a civilized manner.
