People asked to donate for FATA IDPs

MULTAN: The Pakistan Army has appealed to local people and philanthropists to donate for the internally displaced people of FATA.

An army spokesman said in a statement that the Pakistan Army had devised a comprehensive plan for re-settlement of internally displaced people of FATA.

He said that the operation against insurgents in FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) left thousands of people homeless and internally displaced people were facing different problems. The upcoming winter season could add to their problems.

The Pakistan Army, following direction from the government and the Army Chief was carrying out rehabilitation work.

The Army appealed to the local people and philanthropists to donate to internally displaced people. It also appealed to them to deposit their donations or Zakat in Askary Bank Account No. 00130100577426. Philanthropists can contact on cell numbers: 0300-4303970, 061-53138600 for donations.
