KARACHI: Pakistan Railways is still going through a tough time as the delay in trains services has reached its worst, Geo News reported Saturday.
Eighteen trains traveling to Narowal, Faisalabad, Multan and some other cities have been closed due to scarcity of engines.
Trains traveling from Lahore to Narowal and Multan, and those traveling on branch lines including Faisalabad were stopped without any prior notice, therefore, the people protested against the act.
Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta Express were 8 to 10 hours late to reach Lahore.
Jafar, Quetta and Karakaram Express were also late and had not reached Lahore until last news came in.
Other trains that were delayed include Khyber Mail, Hazara Express, Rohi Express and Bolan Mail.
The average by which trains are getting late is approximately from 5 hours to 13 hours.
