LAHORE: The electricity shortfall continues across the country and in major cities including Lahore 13 hours of loadshedding is being carried out while in rural areas the duration is 18 hours, Geo News reported.

Not only are residents without electricity during Sehr and Iftar, but power outages continued throughout the day. According to PEPCO spokesperson, electricity generation in the country is 14,536 MW while demand is 18,570 MW. Despite the severe shortfall KESC is being provided 770 MW.
