Formation of new provinces vital for progress: Hashmi

MULTAN: PML-N leader Javed Hashmi said Saturday that formation of new provinces is vital for country’s progress, adding that Punjab should be divided into four provinces. Geo News reported.

Speaking to the media at his residence the PML-N leader said the PPP was talking about the formation of new provinces to gain votes and it was not capable of achieving this.

Without the support of the PML-N the PPP could not form new provinces. According to Hashmi a province should be created which includes Multan and Bahawalpur, adding that in the future to solve problems Karachi, Lahore and Quetta could also be made into provinces.
