23 shopkeepers fined

MULTAN: The district administration, in a campaign against profiteers, imposed Rs 10,700 fine on 23 shopkeepers on Saturday.

According to the district administration, 43 price control magistrates raided 138 shops and found 23 shopkeepers involved in earning undue profit.

Meanwhile, the district administration has set up nine Ramadan bazaars to ensure the sale of daily-use items at low rates.
