HYDERABAD: Five persons, including two women, were killed and 16 others received injuries when a passenger coach rammed into an oil tanker near Sehwan on Indus Highway Monday morning.

According to Edhi Centre, the driver of speeding Karachi-bound passenger coach lost control of the vehicle, which collided with an oil tanker near Sehwan. The coach turned turtle and claimed the lives of five passengers including two women and injuries to 16 others.

Edhi ambulances immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to Liaquat University Hospital Jamshoro. Threeof five deceased persons were identified as Fahmida, Ameerzadiand Bashir Ahmed while 14 of 16 injured persons were identified as Abdul Rasool, Muhammad Azam, Ghulam Abbas, Asadullah, Ilyas, AliHaider, Abdul Sattar, Imran, Jehangir, Muhammad Ramzan, Salim, IqbalKhatoon, Shahzad and Abdul Qayoom.
