American national kidnapped from Lahore

LAHORE: A 63-year-old American national, Warner was kidnapped who was working as a consultant for an organization, Geo News reported Saturday. An investigation has been launched to probe his kidnapping.

The kidnapping took place in Model Town 49 block J during the early hours of the morning when two cars with 10-12 men overpowered the guard at the residence of the American national and kidnapped him.

Upon receiving news of the kidnapping, DIG Operations, CCPO Lahore and a heavy contingent of police reached the site of the crime. Entry and exit points of the city have been sealed and the search for the American has been initiated.

The media was not allowed entry into the residence but according to SSP Investigation, the police are interrogating those working in the house. A case has also been lodged against the unknown kidnappers in Model Town police station.
