KARACHI: Two people were injured when unknown armed men opened fire on a rally of Jiye Sindh in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Geo News reported Saturday.
Jiye Sindh took out a rally from Gulshan-e-Iqbal which came under fire attack by unidentified gunmen when it was passing through Rashid Minhas Road near Alladding Part where police was also present.
Two participants of the rally sustained bullet injuries in the incident.
The rally marched forward and it was attacked again by armed men when in reached Jauhar Morr. This triggered panic among the participants who ran in all directions to look for safety.
The rally gathered again and at that point the leader of Jiye Sindh Tehreek Dr. Safdar Sarki also joined the participants.
The rally staged a sit-in on railway fly-over where Dr. Safdar addressed the participants.
