Rescue 1122 to celebrate Independence Day

RAWALPINDI: Rescue 1122 is set to celebrate Independence Day in a befitting manner on Sunday at their respective Stations, said District Emergency officer Rawalpindi Dr Abdur Rahman.

According to a statement, he said National Flag hoisting ceremony will be held at Central Rescue Station Rawal Road, Rawalpindi at 0900 hours. Special prayers will be offered for the peace, solidarity and prosperity of Pakistan.

He said the Rescue Service is already working for the noble cause and it is the Day of Commitment, so we must remember the ever lasting message of the Quaid-i-Azam "Unity, Faith and Discipline" for building the Nation. (APP)
