QUETTA: Inspector General Police of Balochistan, Rao Amin Hashim on Saturday stressing the need for evaluation of the price of independence said that a piece of land in the shape of Pakistan has been achieved after the long struggle of our ancestors.

Realizing their endeavors and sacrifices we should value the independence.

He was addressing a ceremony organized by the Police Grammar School in connection with the Independence Day celebrations here at Police Line. Additional IGP Ghalib Bandesha, CCPO Ehsan Mehbob, other senior police officials and a large number of people from various walks of life were present on the occasion.

"We have freedom of expression, thoughts and can speak against the injustices in Pakistan," said Rao Amin adding this blessing is just because we are living in an independent country.

Referring to the Muslim community lives in India, he said that one could ask the value of independence from them.

Additional IGP Ghalib Bandesha and Principal of Grammar Public School also spoke.

Earlier, student of Police Grammar School presented plays, tableaus and sung national songs.
