I-Day dawns with 21 guns salute in Lahore

LAHORE: The 65th Independence Day dawned in the provincial capital here with 21 guns salute and special prayers in mosque for the progress, prosperity and solidarity of the country.

The smart and elegant contingent of Pakistan Army paid salute at the Fortress stadium on the eve of happy Independence Day, where the family members of high officials of Pakistan Army were also present, while a large number of citizens witnessed the impressive salute ceremony from outside the Fortress stadium.

Special prayers on behalf of the Pakistan Army were also offered on this occasion for the security and solidarity of the country and expressed their determination for defending the geographical boundaries of the country.
