DCO for action against profiteers

MULTAN: District Coordination Officer Multan, Zahid Akhtar Zaman on Monday directed price control magistrates to raid markets daily to maintain prices of edibles.

While presiding over a meeting at his office, the DCO directed the price control magistrates to take strict action against shopkeepers who were selling commodities at high rates.

He also ordered to register FIRs against fertilizer dealers who were overcharging.

The DCO said that a performance report of price control magistrate was being sent to the Punjab government daily.
