Police foil drugs smuggling bid

PESHAWAR: The capital city police on Thursday foiled drugs smuggling bid and recovered huge cache of hashish from suspected motorcar here in the limits of Sarband police station.

The city police on a tip-off formed a raiding party led by SP Cantt Shafiullah Khan and SHO Sarband Granullah Khan that rushed to the spot and recovered huge cache of drugs from the suspected car.

The police during search recovered 40 kilograms of hashish of fine quality and registered case against unknown smugglers.
