FAISALABAD: Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has announced the results of Annual BA/BSc, B.Com and BIT Examinations 2011 here Wednesday.
In this connection, a formal function was held in Yousuf Block of the university while GCUF Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zakir Husain presided over. Announcing the results, Additional Controller Exams Aftab Ahmad Chattha told that Mariya Javaid got overall first position in these exams by bagging 627 out of 800 marks.
He told, 2261 students appeared in these exams. Out of them, 1068 were declared successful, thus showing pass percentage 47.23%.
He told that Bushra Rehman stood first in BA exams with 599 marks while Nauman Bin Safdar and Hafiza Kausar Parveen were declared second and third with 580 and 574 marks respectively.
In BSc Exams, Mariya Javaid stood first whereas Amir Ali and Sidra Awan bagged 2nd and 3rd positions with 587 and 581 marks respectively.
Later, the Vice Chancellor distributed cash prizes and certificates among the position holders.
