LAHORE: Police have arrested four persons involved in kite business and recovered 70,000 kites from their possession.
The police at a picket on Wahdat Road intercepted a truck on suspicion and recovered 70,000 kites from it after checking. The police also arrested four accupants identified as Muhammad Hanif, Asghar Ali, Nayamat and Akbar Ali and took the vehicle into custody.
Muhammad Hanif, resident of Kasur, is the main accused who had prepared kites to supply them in Rawalpindi, Quetta and Peshawar.
A case has been registered against the accused.
