Aisam, Bopanna lose Cincy doubles event

CINCINNATI: Fifth seeded Indo-Pak pair of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna lost in the doubles quarterfinal of the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, Geo News reported Saturday.

Fourth seeded Michale Llodra of France and Serbia's Nenand Zimonjic defeated the Indo-Pak express and secured their position in the semi-final of the event.

The fourth seeded pair won by 6-3 and 6-2.

Aisam and Bopanna downed the Argentine pair of Juan Ignacio Chela and Juan Monaco 6-3, 5-7, 10-4 in their second round match to get into quarterfinals earlier.
