HYDERABAD: The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh hosted Iftar Dinner for the students of the University of Sindh on Friday.

The Iftar Dinner for girl students residing in hostels was arranged at the Marui Girls Hostel while for the boys it was held at the main lawns of the Boys hostel at Allama I.I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro.

The Vice Chancellor Dr. Nazir A. Mughal, Pro Vice Chancellors, Deans of the Faculties, Heads of various teaching departments, Registrar and other officers attended the Iftar dinner.

The Vice Chancellor while speaking at the gathering said that all efforts are being made to take the University of Sindh among other top universities of the country.

He said that all facilities within the limit of the budget will be provided to the students in hostels and added that his first priority is to facilitate the students and considering most important to the students in the university education.

Dr. Mughal advised the students to work hard, to pay attention to their education and raise the name of their Alma mater.

He said that the students should not take part in unhealthy activities which cause bad name to the University and said that for any problem they can meet with him on every Monday and added that every Monday is open for the students who can meet to apprise of their problems without any prior appointment.

He said that the students are future leader and added that this university has produced leaders in every field to serve the country and world at large and the students should learn from their struggle for becoming successful leaders.

He announced that internet facility would be made available in hostel rooms and pointed out that a scheme is already approved and funds are also available for the purpose.
