Security beefed up at shopping centers

RAWALPINDI: The security has been beefed up at shopping centres and markets of the city as Eid-ul-Fitr draws nearer.

Talking to APP, Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal Town Malik Matloob said a poolproof plan has been made for the security of people at various shopping centers including Moti Bazaar, Raja Bazaar,Trunk Bazaar, Bohr Bazaar, Commercial market and public places. Women police alongwith law enforcers in plain clothes have been deployed in various sensitive areas. Close circuit cameras are already installed in different busy bazaars and public places, he added.

He urged the people to keep an eye around their surroundings and in case of any suspicious activity inform the police immediately.
