SC takes suo moto notice of Karachi killings

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has taken suo moto notice of the killings in Karachi, Geo News reported.

A two member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry will hear the case on August 26. The apex court has summoned IG Sindh, and a notice has also been issued to the attorney general.

The record of those killed and injured during the last month in Karachi has also been summoned from the chief secretary.
