Gold resurges to Rs 50,571 per tola

KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs 1,714 to close at Rs50,571 per 10 grams in the local market Friday, as its international price also soared to $ 1,785 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664grams) price also surged by Rs 2,000 to Rs 59,000. He said gold has climbed again on fresh buying in the international market after plunging on Thursday.

Silver closed unchanged at Rs 1,114.28 per 10 grams. (APP)
