ISLAMABAD: An alleged terrorist was captured from a hotel in Islamabad, who subsequently led to the arrest of two more, Geo News reported Friday.

Capital cops raided a hotel in Abpara and seized a man named Qadri who is an alleged terrorist.

Giving details the police said that explosives and weapons were also recovered from a house’s rooftop in Sector G-6.

Police said the items recovered included a suicide-bomb-jacket, pistol, US dollars, and Rs71,000.

It was also reported that an alleged terrorist/accomplice named Ali fled the scene. Ali, initial investigation revealed, works as Naib Qasid (messenger) in the ministry of finance and is a resident of Naushehra.

They were hatching a plan to strike Youm-e-Quds rallies, police said.

A couple of other culprits were also identified by the one held. They too were collared later on.
