8 raiding teams formed for recovery of Shahbaz Taseer

LAHORE: Eight raiding teams have been formed under supervision of experienced police officers for the recovery of Shahbaz Tasser, son of slain Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, who was kidnapped by unknown people from Gulberg area on Friday.

Police sources said the teams would carry out an intensive search for the kidnapped Shahbaz Taseer in Punjab Capital and its surrounding areas. However, police had been conducting search operations since the kidnapping of Shahbaz Taseer.

The Punjab government on its own part has put security agencies on red alert throughout the province.(APP)
