KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Wassan has said that law & order situation is improving, adding it’s not at all like what was happening in the city before August 23.

“It’s time we delivered results, matters have gone beyond pipe dreams, and we’ve got to bring about peace in the city of so many”, He said.

He was talking to newsmen after condoling with the bereaved family of Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) ex-MNA Waja Karim Dad at his residence.

He said Lyari had always been a bastion of PPP and will always be.

He told newsmen that women and the old are allowed to ride pillion seat, adding there was no restriction in this regard. It’s meant for the bad guys only, he added.

He said, during the search operation 378 arrests were made, while 140 weapons were recovered from the culprits including two AK-47s and a Light Machine Gun.

The ongoing operation will continue until the last criminal is arrested, said he, concluding his talk.
