Torrential rain in Lahore

LAHORE: The weather turned pleasant after torrential rains in the provincial capital city here, Geo News reported.

Met department has forecast that the spate of rain may continue for the next 12 hours.

Kanal Road, Jauhar Town, Wapda Town, Raiwind Road, Thokar Niaz Beg and several other areas were lashed by the torrential rains in the wee hours today, which sent the roads and streets overflowing with accumulated water, however it also provided relief to the citizens from the last few days of hot and dry weather.

Met department said that more rains expected in different parts of Punjab including Lahore during the next 12 hours.
