ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker, Fahmida Mirza has constituted a 17-member parliamentary committee for reviewing the prevalent situations in Karachi and Blaochistan, Geo News reported.

The committee members comprise of PPP’s five, ML-N’s 4, ML-Q’s 3, MQM’s 2 and one member each from the JUI-F, ANP and ML-F.

Among the members included in the committee are: Khurshid Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Noor Alam, Ayetullah Durrani and Qadir Patel pf PPP, Sardar Mahtab, Khawaja Asif, Zahid Hamid and Rana Tanvir of ML-N, Ghaus Bukhsh Mehar, Riaz Peerzada and Zubaida Jalal of ML-Q, Haider Abbas Rizvi and Sohail Mansur of MQM, Khuda Bukhsh Rajar of ML-F, Ghulam Ahmad Bilor of ANP, Maulana Fazlur Rahman of JUI-F.

The committee will present its report in the parliament on Karachi and Balochistan situations within two months.
