Khyber Mail collides with Babu train, 3 dead

LAHORE: Three people were killed when Khyber Mail ran into halted Babu train at the Badami Bagh railway crossing in Lahore Tuesday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the Khyber Mail crashed into the Babu train standing at the Badami Bagh railway crossing that killed three persons including a child and a driver while many others sustained injuries.

The Babu train was standing at the Badami Bagh railway due to an accident that had killed a child when the following Khyber Mail collided into it that over turned a bogie and killed the driver of Khyber Mail, a child and passenger.

Rescue efforts are underway at the accident site while the injured persons were shifted to hospitals.
