URUMQI: President Asif Ali Zardari offered Eid prayer here in the capital of China's Xinjiang province on Wednesday, where he reached Tuesday on a three-day visit to participate in the first China-Eurasia Expo being held from September 1 to 5.

The President offered the Eid prayer along with the members of his
delegation including Ministers for Defence, Commerce, Petroleum and Natural Resources, the Prime Minister of AJK, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan and others as well as the Pakistan Embassy officials.

The Imam (prayer leader) delivered Eid sermon and explained the special bounties and blessing of Allah Almighty for faithful during the holy month of Ramadan.

On this occasion special prayers were made for the unity and well-being of Muslim Ummah as well as for inter-faith harmony and peace in the world.

After the Eid prayers, the President exchanged greetings with the
delegation members, officers and staff of the Pakistan Embassy. (APP)
