Governor visits Central Prison, hospital

PESHAWAR: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masud Kausar spent a busy day on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr Wednesday.

The Governor visited central prison and Hayatabad Medical Complex. During the visit to central prison, Governor went through different barracks and met with prisoners. He also distributed Eid gifts among the children of female prisoners.

The Governor also ate the meal prepared for prisoners on the occasion of Eid and got himself abreast about the problems being faced by the jail inmates. He assured the prisoners about early redressal of their grievances.

In response to complaints of prisoners belonging to FATA, he specially mentioned recent reforms introduced by federal government in FATA and said that soon a positive change would be visible among the people of tribal area.

The Governor also visited Hayabatabad Medical Complex and met with patients admitted in the hospital. The Governor exchanged Eid greetings with the patients. He prayed for early recovery of the patients. (APP)
