People throng recreational spots to enjoy Eid

RAWALPINDI: People of Rawalpindi and Islamabad thronged popular recreational spots to enjoy the happy occasion of Eid.

The main destinations included Rawal Lake View Park, Rawal Dam, Fatima Jinnah Park, Shakarparian, Daman-e-Kohand Pir Sohawa in the capital, while in Rawalpindi Nawaz Sharif Park and Ayub Park, Safari Park, Race Course, Jinnah Park were appeared packed with people enjoying the Eid festivities.

There was very little transport on the roads and taxi drivers were charging exorbitantly. Despite that many people had managed to reach the recreational spots to enjoy their serene and calm atmosphere.

There were a large number of vehicles at parking areas of Daman-e-Koh and Pir Sohawa which is witnessed in routine.(APP)
