RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred as the Indian forces opened firing at a checkpost at Line of Control (LoC), Pak Army Spokesman Major General Athar Abbas told Geo News on Thursday.
Talking to 'Geo', he said the incident took place on night between Tuesday and Wednesday. He said India army opened unprovoked firing at a checkpost in Dodhaniyal areas of Neelum valley resulting three soldiers of Mujahid Battalion were martyred.
Spokesman further said there were reports of blast in that area. Further investigations are underway. The issue firing is being raised with local Indian commander, he added.
