ISLAMABAD: 132 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims stranded in Jeddah airport due to delay in flights have returned here via PIA flight in the wee hours of Friday, Geo News reported.
According to the details, the pilgrims were supposed to return on August 27, but they remained stranded for four days due to the severe disturbance in flights schedule.
Passengers said that airline provided them residence at Jeddah but they had been marooned at Jeddah airport sixteen hours before their departure to Pakistan.
Family members also shouted slogans against PIA at Islamabad airport.
